
REMABEC GROUP AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES
The Remabec Group is a pillar of the Quebec forestry industry that specializes in four areas of excellence, all interrelated: administration, forest operations, processing of timber and selling wood products internationally. Today, the Remabec Group is proud to be the largest private forestry contractor in Quebec and the second largest timber sawyer in the province. The Remabec Group consists of 30 subsidiaries and harvest about 3 Million cubic meters of wood each year. At the manufacturing level, Remabec Group operates in three forest regions of Quebec with its 10 operative factories in areas such as sawing – both dressed and rough, finger jointing, chipping and the second transformation of wood species.

ARBEC
Arbec is a regroupment of seven sawmills/planning and jointing of wood. Located in the region of Quebec, Mauricie, Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean and the North Shore, these mills are important foundations of the manufacturing division of Remabec Group. At full capacity, Arbec sawmills employ 700 people and have an annual production capacity of 650 Million board feet.

SAVCO WOODWORK INC. (SUBSIDIARY OF REMABEC)
Savco Woodwork inc. is a factory located in Saint-Adelphe. Built for the sawing of hardwood timber, the factory has a mainly Canadian clientele and its products are pallets components.

REMBOS INC.
